Phuket, Thailand!

Today I am writing this post from our private villa on Layan Beach, east side of the island of Phuket and the current temperature is a pleasant 34 degrees celsius. This is not my first time to this lovely country, it's actually my third trip! but its beauty never ceases to amaze me. It is day number three and we've done the usual rights of passage every traveller must do upon arrival. We have gorged ourselves with the best thai food you could ever eat, walked along the white sand beach and treated ourselves to a soothing one hour oil massage. I am easily settling in to this no worry lifestyle, where days blend into one another and time is not of the essence. I can't believe we have a whole month of this!

When we arrived at Layan Villas we knew we had to do a post here! surrounded by palm trees, stunning floor to ceiling windows and our own private pool! Today I am wearing this mesh peplum top from Minty meets Munt, an Australian brand that I am absolutely obsessed with at the moment. They have a great selection of prints which are perfect for summer. I am also wearing this maxi skirt by Shieke. I just adore the over lay of the fabric which creates the double slit exposing just the right amount of leg. And who could forget about the shoes? I am smitten with my new Jeffery Campell's - everything from the thick buckle strap to the perfect perspex heel! 

Next stop, Patong - a totally different atmosphere from the relaxing vibe of Layan beach. But I am sure it will provide the backdrop for some exciting adventures!
